Well, I can’t believe it’s been so lo since I wrote! Where does the time go? It’s like I transported to the future. I don’t even remember being so busy that I forgot to keep up on this blog! So many things have been happening since my last post. My Weight Watchers Journey has been up and down up and down. I did so well the first month, I was down 18 pounds!! Then into week 5 , I got complacent and wasn’t being diligent enough in my weighing and measuring my foods. As a result, I have gained back 3 pounds that I worked so hard to lose. I am angry at myself for thinking that I could just eyeball my foods and call it good! NOPE! I am not to good at the eyeballing and judging portion sizes. I need the disci of doing that to keep myself accountable.
Next in my catching up is I celebrated my 8th wedding anniversary on September 24th. We had a wonderful day at the zoo in Madison Wisconsin. Then a really awesome meal at a Mongolian restaurant called Huhot. Can’t wait to go again. I can eat that and track it and have a delicious meal without the guilt.
So, last week, I was reading a David Baldacci book, (my fave author) it was about midnight. I got up to go to bed, and I was dizzy, the world tilted and I went down hard on my right side. I smashed into our solid oak coffee table and then crashed to the floor. I am a mass of bruises and sore body parts. The colors have bloomed really well. I just got back on my elliptical today (30th) I hurt the whole time, but managed to get several minutes in although not as vigorous as usual. I am very grateful to be not injured more than I was.
I‘m ready to buckle down and re focus my efforts to lose this weight. At the beginning of my journey, I needed to lose 181 pounds to get to where I need to be to be healthy. I have 166 pounds to go!
I CAN AND WILL DO THIS
